The day began around 10:00 am. The weather was perfect--nice breeze, sunny, absolutely glorious! Fourth graders and parents met at the LSU lakes for our first official "4th grade Fun Field Trip." After inflating tires and fastening helmets, we began our journey. Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez led the way while I held the caboose position. We toured both the large and small lakes. We stopped a few times to catch our breath, rehydrate, and take in the beautiful scenery. Several of us even enjoyed lunch together afterwards. We had a blast! What a wonderful day! What's next???
